New Alumni Director
Marsha Kleinman will be stepping down as Alumni Director at the end of the academic year. We thank Marsha for three years of dedication to the Alumni Association. In her place we are very pleased to announce that Laurie Hoonhout McFeeley '76 will become the new Alumni Director. Alumni Laxmen Challenge
The first annual Alumni Lacrosse Game will be held on Saturday, June 10 at Van Brunt Field at 1:30 p.m. Former coach Doug Alsofrom is coming out of retirement to whip his alumni team into shape and current coach Paul Edwards will showcase this year's team. Post-game cheer at Tierney's from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. The cost of participation is $20 to cover the cost of your game shirt and officials. A Bad Day Of Golf Is Better Than...
The sixth MKA Alumni Golf Open & Dinner will be held on Tuesday, June 13th at the Glen Ridge Country Club. The event is hosted by the Alumni Council and is purely a social event, not a fund raiser. Join us in the afternoon for lunch and golf or come in the evening for cocktails and dinner.

Career Day
Career Day, held on March 8th, brought back alumni who spanned the decades from the 1950s to the 2000s. Metro NY Alumni

BANI College Trip
March heralded in the sixth annual Black Alumni Network Initiative college tour. Ten students traveled to Philadelphia and visited University of Pennsylvania, Temple University, Villanova University and Princeton University. Students met with MKA alumni attending each institution and college admissions counselors. Paul Nejelski '54 A Deputy District Attorney General during the Carter Administration and an immigration judge from 1989 to 1997, Paul first joined the Department of Justice in 1964 when he was appointed as an Assistant United States Attorney for New Jersey by Attorney General Robert F. Joan McConnell '59 A specialist in intercultural communications and the author of 24 books on language, culture and communication. Joan directed the Stanford University language program for 23 years and lectured extensively throughout North America, Europe and Asia. Through her numerous books and copious articles, she has explored the challenges and rewards of intercultural communication. drjoanie@comcast.net
Harlan Gibbs, MD '72 A medical director of the emergency department at Glendale Adventist Medical Center and a clinical instructor of medicine at USC School of Medicine. Dr. Gibbs has been a Medical Editor for Lifetime Television's "Physician Journal Update," writer and editor for numerous AMA educational videos and CBS "Eye on Health" series. He has been on numerous television shows where he wrote and produced medical news pieces. In 1999, Bd. Stacey Silverstein Cochran '77 a writer / director whose work which includes "Cocktails at Six" , "Another Damaging Day" and "My New Gun" has been seen at The Cannes Film Festival.
