SUMMER SKILLS FOR SUCCESS 2013
Looking for some academic enrichment? Under the expert leadership of Scott Coronis, Summer Skills for Success for students entering grades 5 - 11 and based at the MKA Middle School campus, offers courses in Writing, Reading, Math and NEW for 2013:
Preparing Your College Essay - New for the Summer Skills Success program: College Application Essay Writing Class. Guaranteed to reduce stress and put you ahead of the game in the college application process! Get a jump on, or even complete your college application essays by enrolling in this class. Classes meet 8:30-12:30 each day, Monday through Friday, for two weeks. Students will develop at least one college essay, from brainstorming to final polished draft, before applications are even filled out! What better way to prepare for senior year? This course has limited enrollment, so early sign up is advised.
Classes will take place in the campuses's air conditioned spaces and will run for 4 hours a day, over a 6 week period (June 24 - August 2). For more information, contact Scott Coronis at 973-509-4529 or scoronis@mka.org.

Summer Jazz Jam 2013
In addition, a week-long Jazz Jam program that offers master classes and experience in working with a jazz ensemble for students in grades 5-8 will be offered at the Middle School campus from July 29 - August 2.. For more information, contact Linda Larkin at llarkin@mka.org.
