Library: Early Readers

Early readers support the beginning reader. The words are simple and sometimes repetitive. Most of the books are short and have a continuous text, although some may be divided into chapters. Children who have enjoyed one selection from a series will be likely to seek other books from the same series. As it is with any fiction book, please note that although a suggested age is given, it is not exclusive as many children read at different levels. (Zena Sutherland, Children and Books)
