Library: Middle School Library
The Middle School Library provides an
information rich environment to students and faculty that supports both
the curriculum and many special, personal interests, such as sports,
music, and animals. In addition to the on-line catalog called Athena,
the library maintains a large variety of age-appropriate books,
periodicals, videos, and electronic resources, including access to the
Internet. Through a structured research-based program grounded in
information literacy, the library enables students to more effectively
find, evaluate, synthesize, and use information. The library also
recognizes the continued importance of reading for
the sheer joy of reading and so invites students to select from
a large collection of fiction books for children and young adults in a
variety of genres.
