Extended Day
MKA's Extended Day Program provides a supervised program after school
for students in grades Pre-K through eight. Extended Day is open on
school days until 6:00 p.m. Students have the opportunity to complete
homework and participate in outdoor and indoor activities appropriate
for their developmental level. Extended Day is available on a drop-in
basis and is available to all MKA students as well as non-MKA students.
Along with the daily Extended Day activities, children may sign up for
a variety of after school classes. Students may choose from art,
swimming, chess, martial arts, knitting, science, drama, yoga, tennis,
various forms of dance, and private and group instrumental lessons.
While in Extended Day, our staff is responsible for escorting your
child to and from their after school classes and lessons. For further

Vacation Play Days
Vacation Play Days at MKA offer parents a safe and fun place for their
child on days when school is not in session due to a public holiday or
conference day. Students will enjoy arts and crafts, sports, games, and
indoor and outdoor activities. Play Days also offers many theme days,
trips, and guest performances. Vacation Play Days are available to MKA
as well as non-MKA students. Hours of enrollment are flexible between
the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. Please note: A minimum enrollment
is required for Vacation Play Days to be open. For information contact
