Fine and Performing Arts
The fine and performing arts provide many means for self-expression and understanding others. The arts stimulate and expand children's communication skills and provide valuable tools for exploring all areas of learning. There are three major components of the arts at Brookside: studio art, music, and dance. Specialists in each discipline teach students all three throughout the school year. Each year, students take part in productions and exhibitions, including plays, dance concerts, and musical performances.
