Welcome to the Shakespeare Project section of our website. 2007
marks the 11th anniversary of this unique Seventh Grade experience
and once again, a student multi-media crew will be
responsible for utilizing all that the website has to offer. In
addition to posting information on schedules and source materials, this
site will provide a dynamic, creative digital forum for sharing student
responses to the Project, including student-produced videos and an
electronic bulletin board. This year’s production is Romeo and Juliet
so watch this space for more information!

Press Release from the Publicity Department:
“The course of true love never did run smooth.” Every year the 7th
grade does something spectacular. This year we are performing Romeo and
Juliet, one of Shakespeare’s best plays. We have all been studying the
play in English classes, too.
Every student and teacher on the 7th grade team is involved, either on
the stage or in a “department,” such as costumes and masks, scenery and
props, multi-media, electrics, educational outreach, or publicity and
marketing. Students are excited about having more ownership in their
areas, such as original costumes.
Our performances will be on Friday, February 9th at 1:30 and 7:30 PM
and on Saturday the 10th at 7:30 PM. The cost of tickets is $3 for
adults and $2 for seniors and students. The class selects a charity to
receive the donations.
