Academics

Each of MKA's three campuses offers a rich and challenging liberal arts curriculum designed to engage student interest, and develop every student to fullest potential. Small class size promotes a highly interactive academic environment conducive to group discussion and tailored instruction. From their youngest years, students are encouraged not only to acquire knowledge, to explore new ideas, and to use technology, but also to think critically, as writers, readers, mathematicians, scientists, linguists, artists, speakers, and citizens. They learn to speak confidently, to craft their writing, to interpret literature, to solve problems, and to research, both in the laboratory and in the library. MKA's Signature Programs for students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12 - The Writing Challenge, the Ethics Program and the Core Works Program - enhance these skills as they enhance the school's curriculum in traditional academic subjects. The curriculum at each campus is dedicated to promoting in both word and deed the motto on the School Seal: 'Knowledge, Vision and Integrity.'
